Removing any and all of the following leading characters before parsing the params: #/?.

#access_token=x&foo=bar => access_token=x&foo=bar
#/?access_token=x&foo=bar => access_token=x&foo=bar
#/access_token=x&foo=bar => access_token=x&foo=bar
#?access_token=x&foo=bar => access_token=x&foo=bar
